TransferMate Global Payments Co-Founder Named Top 100 CFO

Dublin, 28th April – Co-Founder of TransferMate Global Payments Sinead Fitzmaurice was last night named as one of the Top 100 Most Innovative & Influential CFOs in Ireland. The CFO Top 100 edition recognises the top 100 Chief Financial Officers working across some of the largest corporates in Ireland and highlights their financial acumen, innovations, and the contribution they make to businesses throughout Ireland.

 
After training as a chartered accountant at PwC, Sinead Fitzmaurice became a manager and began working internationally. She returned to Ireland at 30, joining The Taxback Group, where she worked closely with the group CEO, Terry Clune. Five years later, she co-founded TransferMate Global Payments with Barry Dowling and Terry Clune.

TransferMate is firmly focused on challenging the banks in providing business worldwide with a smarter way to exchange foreign currencies and to send and receive international payments. The business processed in excess of $5bn in cross-border payments and is growing fast increasing the team by 30% from 105 to 165 in a little over 6 months.  Over 80% of TransferMate’s clients are based outside of Ireland winning the business awards all over the world and most recently the 2016 Big Innovation Award in the US.
