TransferMate is expanding its Global Accounts solution by adding three new South American currencies: Peruvian Sol (PEN), Argentine Peso (ARS), and Chilean Peso (CLP).
This update further strengthens our global coverage and enables businesses to operate more efficiently across the region.
From today, TransferMate clients and partners can access locally based accounts in Peru, Argentina, and Chile, enabling them to transact seamlessly within each country’s domestic financial system via local payment rails. These accounts operate in line with local regulatory frameworks, including market-specific restrictions on holding funds.
TransferMate owns the world's largest fintech payments infrastructure, providing payments, receivables, stored funds, and risk management solutions to businesses and partners globally. The addition of these three currencies to our Global Accounts footprint is particularly valuable for partners expanding in South America, where navigating fragmented banking systems, currency controls, and regulatory complexity presents a significant barrier to entry.
Businesses can now open accounts in these currencies* quickly and use them to make and receive local payments, improving settlement speed, reducing reliance on cross-border wires, and minimizing FX friction when operating in these markets.
By enabling faster, compliant settlements, simplifying access to local payment systems, and reducing operational complexity in high-growth LATAM markets, TransferMate continues to unlock new opportunities for its partners, helping them expand with confidence in a regulated, secure environment.
“TransferMate continues to expand both our global coverage and product capabilities in response to the evolving needs of our business partners and their clients,” said Gary Conroy, President and Chief Commercial Officer of TransferMate. “Latin America presents significant growth opportunities, but also unique challenges. By extending our Global Accounts solution to include Peru, Argentina, and Chile, we’re giving our partners the infrastructure they need to operate locally, compliantly, and at scale, helping businesses truly go global.”
The addition of Peruvian Sol, Argentine Peso, and Chilean Peso follows the launch of Brazilian Real Global Accounts, with further currency expansions planned later this year.
*Chilean Peso (CLP) accounts are available on application only.
